The sun didn't exactly shine, but the rain stayed away, as the cast gave an excellent performance to an eager and enthusiastic audience.

The promenade piece not only told the classic story against a collection of stunning natural backdrops - it also allowed the audience to enjoy a Summer evening stroll around the beautiful park.

If you didn't make yesterday evening's performance - there's still chance to catch this talented cast of local youngsters as they perform at 7pm this evening - Sunday 25th July! Our ticket desk is situated by The Lakeside Cafe.

Creative Partnerships Project @ Rood End

Next week's final performance is fast, fast approaching! Are we ready? Of course we are! The pupils are doing a wonderful job and are more than ready.

This week we spent a while with each group making sure that everything that needed polishing was polished. The pupils are proving to us more and more each week how committed they are to this performance - so we are hoping for a super one!

One more day of rehearsing to go. This will be our first rehearsal with everyone from all 4 groups coming together to see each others stories. It will also be the first time that years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be put into the performance to rehearse their chants. There is a lot to do in one day but we are pretty confident that the pupils can pull it off!

Next Wednesday is performance day.... and we cannot wait!

Keep reading to see how Rood End pupils get on with their "4 Elements performance!" :-)
